Legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev has asked people not to compare star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah with him. Bumrah has been gaining a lot of attention in the cricket world because of his amazing performances in international cricket recently.

Bumrah has taken 64 wickets in 12 matches (23 innings) in Australia, with an average of 17.15. He has four five-wicket hauls and his best match figures are 9/86. After Bumrah's amazing performance, Kapil Dev told people not to compare him with Bumrah, saying it's unfair to compare players from different eras.

"Please don't compare me with Bumrah. You can't compare one generation with another. Today's players score 300 runs in a single day, which didn't happen in our time. So, don't compare," Kapil said to the media.

Bumrah was named Player of the Series after taking the most wickets in the five-Test series against Australia. He took 32 wickets in nine innings, with an average of 13.06, including three five-wicket hauls. He made history by becoming the Indian bowler with the most wickets in a single series in Australia, beating Bishan Singh Bedi's record of 31 wickets from 1977-78.
